Sam felt the sun shining down on his shoulders while he sat happily by the stream. It was a perfect sunny day and luckily he was spending it with Sarah. Then, all at once Sarah pointed at the water. “Look Sam!” Sarah exclaimed. “It is a .."

Giant Shark!" Sarah and I sat motionless for 10 seconds in dead silence. "What should we do?" asked Sarah.

"We should try to catch it using a fishing rod!" I exclaimed. We decided that I would run back to my house and grab the fishing rod while Sarah stayed here and watched the shark.

Ten minutes later I was back at the stream and there was Sarah standing watching the Shark. "Did you bring the tackle box?" asked Sarah.

"Yes and I also grabbed the steal lines," I replied.

Next, we put some bait on the line and dropped it in the water; and the moment the bait hit the water the Shark took the bait and he snapped the steal line easily.

"Oh No!"said Sarah.

"I know what to do!" said Sam." We will use two steal lines to catch this monster!"

The Beating Stick

My mother once told me to always use a ice cream scooper when scooping ice cream. Because when I was a kid I always used regular spoons to scoop ice cream. When I was a kid the spoons were very thin and bent very easily and my brother secretly hid the ice cream scooper so I had to use a spoon. Every time I scooped ice cream I normally broke the spoon into 2 pieces trying to get the ice cream out of the pail. My mother was always furious. My punishment was to normally to go outside and shovel the snow out of our driveway. When my father got home I was normally beaten with a stick. eventually my parents bought a beating stick to beat on me with. one day I was eating ice cream and I tripped over the carpet and I spilled ice cream all over the wall. That night my brother got permission from my parents to throw rocks at me for fun. After that day I was grounded from eating ice cream for a month. I don't know how I did it but i survived without it. The day my suspension from ice cream was up I was walking home from school and my sister bought me some ice cream from the corner store. It was the best ice cream i had ever had. that night I broke another spoon. I was sent outside to be beaten again and I swore at my mother. Later that night my mother figured out that my brother hid the spoon she apologized for all the punishment I was given. Before I went to sleep i took back everything I had said.

Michelle was a grade 3 student who hated going to school. Normally Michelle wasn't very miserable but today school would have been canceled if it was only 2 degrees colder outside so that made Michelle angry. It was the middle of January and Michell's school has had straight full weeks of school and Michelle needed a break. On Her 20 minute Bus ride to school Michell asked Bill on the other side of the bus if he thought school would be canceled and Bill said "I thought school was cancelled for sure today."

The bus ride continued on, and when they were about 10 minutes away from their school they started to see buses going in the opposite direction and Michelle said, "Where are they going?"

Bill answered Michelle and said, "Maybe school got canceled." Michelle started to get excited and started to watch the bus driver hoping he would get a message over the CB radio telling him to turn around and take the kids home! Michelle could tell something was happening because the driver was constantly on the radio and then finally Michelle heard the bus driver say over the radio that he was going to turn around at the next corner! Michelle nearly jumped right out of her seat. Michelle said "Did you hear that Bill?" Bill said "Yuppers."

My new years Resouloutions

1. Go snowboarding 5 more times this year.

2. Go wakeboarding 20 times in the summer.

3. Get my ski-doo fixed and ride it.

4. Buy new hockey gloves and pants.

5. Finish my Be A Pro On NHL 11.

6. Make the Directors cup team.

7. Buy a New hockey stick.

8. return to playing hockey friday night.

9. Get my hunter safety.

10. Buy a Rifle.

My Christmas Holliday

On Christmas day after opening presents my family and I drove up to my Aunties house at Lake Of the Prairies, later the day I went fishing and only caught one fish and then later I went ski-doing. For the next two days me and my cousin went snowboarding. On the 28th my family went back to Virden where we were having our Mcsorley Christmas. On the 30th me and my family went to Brandon Canad Inns to spend our free night stay we won a year ago. for new years eve we went up to Assesippi to snowboard. After that we came back to virden to pack up and get ready to go to Winnipeg for the under 17 games. we saw 2 games, USA vs Quebec and West vs Slovakia. USA beat Quebec 5 to 2 and west beat Slovakia 4 to 0. after that we went back up to Asessipi for 2 more days and then sadly christmas break was over.

I am very excited that we are finally in the last month of 2010. This year I learned a lot. Some of my favorite things to learn was how to create a blog, how to write a book report, and how make A2 + B2 = C2. I am Excited that Christmas break is coming up, but im really going to miss math homework for 2 entire weeks.

My most surprising moment of 2010 was when I got the highest mark on our math test. The worst part of 2010 was when I broke my wrist, Not only do I have to miss out on hockey but I also can't play forward against the dream team. But I will still be able to backstop our team to victory when we play the dream team.

For Christmas break 2010 we are going to my Auntie's house at Assesippi and we are going to be ski-doing ,fishing, and snowboarding all Christmas break.

When I come back to School in 2011 i am sure I am not going to be happy because Christmas break will be over, but I will also be very happy that my cast will finally be off and I will be back to playing hockey again. Also in 2010 I will be looking forward to our Ski trip in March.

I'm sure I am going to have lots of fun during spring break with no homework to worry about!
